An early 17th C. coloured tile of a flying kingfisher.

A coloured tile. Measuring 12,5 x 12,5 cm. Thickness 12 mm. The tile shows a coloured image of a kingfisher in full flight. The tile has some minor damages at the corners and the right wing, which has been restored(see photo). The tile is very rare in that it shows the bird on its way to build a nest. Holland around 1620.
