A bleeding bowl. Diameter 21 cm. Height 6 cm. Brass with traces of silver. On the back the initials "CHK" and the date "1795". A dated bleeding bowl is an extremely rare object. The initials could stand for the name of the barber who used this bowl. This eightteenth century bowl is in perfect used condition and was probably made in Holland.
