A knife with a brass handle. Overall length 17 cm. Length of handle 7 cm. The handle shows a very delicately shaped man and woman embracing each other. This knife dates back to the 16th Century. The mere presence of the iron blade attached to the brass handle after such a long period in the soil is quite remarkable. The knife originates from the Low Countries.
