A very rare 18th C. glass ointment jar. Possibly Dutch.

A glass ointment jar. Height 8 cm. Opening 7 cm. Foot 4,5 cm. Very light green "soda"-glass. At 2,5 cm from the opening a glass rim is present, which was used when the jar was closed with a piece of pigs bladder, secured with a string. The glass has a very distinct and deep "pontil". It is in mint condition. First half of the 18th C. Possibly Dutch.
