A miniature linnen press. Overall height 50 cm. Width 23 cm. Maximal depth 16 cm. Under the press six separate blades to contain the linnen pieces to be pressed. Underneath two drawers. All well and delicately made. This type of miniature furniture was made by an apprentice furniture maker to earn his "mastership". Holland, mid nineteenth century. Mint condition.
