A nicely carved oak statue of a bagpipe player.

An amusing bagpipe player. Overall height 36 cm. Nicely carved from one piece of oak wood. The statue may have been part of a group of musicians as decoration of a mechanical device. In the bottom a series of holes is suggestive of that. Made in Northern France around 1800. In mint condition. No damages, repairs or restorations.
