A pair of manganese tiles. Size each 13 x 13 cm. Thickness 8 mm. The tiles are from one batch. A large series of these tiles were exported around 1707 to a small palace in Portugese Figuera da Foz where they still can be seen in the "Casa do Paço". They are exquisitely made high quality tiles. Only few of them were retained in the Low Countries. The current pair is part of them. The tiles are in mint condition and extremely rare.
