A rare bin shaped 18th C box with "Wismuth Malerei".

A painted box. High 18 cm. Size lid 25,5 x 17 cm. Size bottom 25,5 x 11 cm. The box is painted with "Wismuth" paint and shows coloured flowers and leaves. The inside of the box is also painted in a warm orange-red colour. It is in mint condition and especially the colours are well preserved. No damages, repairs or restorations. The shape of this box is very unusual. Southern Germany mid- 18th century.
