A rare brass 18th C tobacco-box with the village of "Ouderkerk".

A brass tobaccobox. Size 15,5 x 8,5 x 3 cm. On one side a view of the village of Ouderkerk, situated just North of Amsterdam. On the other side an extensive description of the lockmasters tasks and pleasures. In front the name of the owner Hendrik Juris. The engraving is of a superb quality. The view of Ouderkerk around 1740 is historically interesting.
