A rare polychrome 16th C. tile with a kingfisher.

Ref.:
22325

A coloured tile with a bird. Measurements 13 x 13 cm, Thickness 18 mm. The bird is a Dutch kingfisher. The corner decorations, a coloured " fleur de lis " are uncommon. The tile is in original condition. No repairs or restorations. The thickness of the tile suggests an origin in the late sixteenth century. It was possibly made in Delft.
