A painted buttercup. Long 21 cm. Wide 15,5 cm. High 13,5 cm. Painted in the "Hindelooper" manner with flowers, two girls and four birds. Signed on the bottom with initials "S.R.B." and dated "1833". Old repair to one of the handles. Painting of extremely high quality in vivid colours. A very rare piece of Frisian folk art.
