A wooden bedstool with a drawer. High 45 cm, wide 83 cm and deep 27 cm. In the middle a drawer. In front of which a painted image of the parable of the wise and foolish virgins. On the sides paintings of a shepherd and of a man shooting birds. This type of furniture was used in the province of North-Holland. A bedstool with a drawer is rare. Dutch 19th C.
