A brass 18th C Dutch candlestick.

A brass candlestick. Overall height 9 cm. Wax pan 7,7 x 4,5 cm. Under the pan is a 3,5 cm long brass pointed nail for fixation. This type of candlestick was used as a travelling utensil. On arrival a hole was made in a wooden surface and the candlestick was inserted into it. This item was made in Holland in the 18th C.
