A peddlers box. Wide 50 cm. High 20 cm. Deep 26 cm. Made of oak wood. In front painted initials of the owner. With a well functioning lock with a key. Hand forged nicely shaped hinges. Interior with several compartments. The box could be carried horizontally as well as displayed on a table. Low Countries around 1800.
