A counterweight. High 8 cm. Diameter 12 cm. Weight 5000 gram. With two holes to accomodate probably the chains to raise or lower the object, most likely a heavy lamp. Made in a very elegant 18th C shape and partially covered with gold leaf. Holland around 1750.
