Four manganese tiles. Size 13 x 13 cm. Thickness 8 mm. The tiles form two pairs and are part of a fireplace. They were made around 1750. Especially in the Zaandam area this type of decoration was quite popular. Each pair forms part of a column and shows a cherub climbing a tree. The tiles are in mint condition, no repairs or restorations.
