A painted wooden box. Long 32 cm. Wide 21 cm. High 21 cm. Painted on all sides with flowers. On the lid typical Sonneberg decoration with trees, towers and houses. The box is in mint condition. No damages, repairs or restorations. These boxes were made mostly as local house folk art in Thüringen in Germany around 1800. The present box is very rare because of its size and decorations.
