A pair of Dutch late 17th C. curved iron compasses with touch mark.

An iron pair of compasses. Overall length 14,5 cm. The curved shape could suggest use in a shipyard. The surface is nicely decorated and has a good patina. On the outer side of one of the legs is a clear blacksmiths touch mark with a "fleur de lys" and the initials "I.C.F.". The hinges are reinforced with brass to allow better motion. The dividers are in mint condition.
