An 18th C Hindeloopen serving tray with a winterlandscape.

A wooden serving tray. Long 50 cm. Wide 30 cm. Deep 6 cm. The tray is painted in the traditional manner of Hindeloopen in Friesland. In the corners flowers, birds and insects. Central a winter landscape with people, some of them iceskating. Eightteenth century Hindeloopen is rare. A winterlandscape on such a tray is quite exceptional.
