An 18th C.small oak nail-box with a written text on the inside.

A small oak painted box. Measurements: 19 x 12 x 6 cm. Painted with green lacquer and decorated with primitive carvings. On the inside 4 compartments. On back of the lid a written statement that the box belonged to Anna Maria Petronella Franken who inherited it from her grandfather in 1832. Most likely granddad used it for assorted nails.
