An extremely rare miniature seventeenth century Delft white porridge bowl.

A miniature bowl. Height 3 cm. Upper diameter 6 cm. This very small porridge bowl lacks its ear on both sides. It was found in a seventeenth century excavation site in Rotterdam. The size suggests it was made for a child. Delfts white is rare and almost invariably damaged.
