A painted bottle. High 14 cm. Decorated in "cold enamel" with an Ottoman warrior. With a clear pontil. In mint condition. These bottles were made throughout the 18th C. in Bohemia.
Since the threatening siege of Vienna in 1683 the Ottoman became a popular theme in several branches of folk art.
