A ladies silver compendium. Size of the scissors 16 cm. Overall weight 175 gram. Consisting of a pair of scissors, a needlecase, a waistbandhook, a pincushion mounted in silver and a connecting long silver chain. All pieces well decorated and hallmarked, among which a hallmark of Amsterdam. This type of silver utensils were used in the nineteenth century by well-to-do ladies in Zeeland.
