Ref.:
20078
A blue and manganese tile. Size 13 x 13 cm. Thickness 12 mm. Showing two men in action while combing wool. The forked tool is typical for their work. (See Jan Pluis "De Nederlandse Tegel" p. 600). Not only is a tile with woolcombers very rare, this tile is additionally rare because of its colours: both blue and manganese. The tile is in mint condition. No damages, repairs or restorations. Delft, first half 17th C.
