An oak schoolbox. High 45 cm. Wide 25 cm. Deep 8,5 cm. Painted with the owners initials, a picture of a sailing ship and the date " 1790 ". In pristine condition. Probably made in the Zaandam region. Dated 18th C schoolboxes are relatively rare.
