A ships-chest. High 22 cm. Wide 55 cm. Deep 40 cm. Painted with flowers and dated " 1733 ". With original lock and key. Re-inforced with wrought iron strips. On the lid an iron handle and two carrying rings on the sides. With an old repair to the lid. Most likely Friesland, eightteenth century.
