A large early nineteenth century double sided cookie mould with a man with his dog on one side and a lady on the other side.

A cookie mould. Long 52 cm. Wide 22 cm. Thick 3 cm. On one side a gentleman with his dog. On the other side a lady. The mould is very well sculptured and shows signs of use. It was made in the first half of the nineteenth century. Double sided moulds with a man and a woman were popular throughout the nineteenth century and were used especially in December with the birthday of St.Nicolas.
