A pair of silver buckles. Diameter 50 mm. Weight 50 gram. This unusual pair was made for a boy of about ten years of age to wear with the traditional dress in Zuid-Beveland in Zeeland. This boy must have belonged to a well to do family, possibly of noble origin. The buckles are in good, well used condition. They were made around 1800.
