Two eighteenth century tobacco barrels, the inside covered with lead.

Two barrels for tobacco. High 38 cm. Diameter 32 cm. Weight per barrel 8,5 kg. The entire inside of each barrel is covered with lead. Inside an oakwood lid, also covered with lead. The barrels are painted in an attractive yellow and gold colour and in an elegant way marked " No 2 " and " No 8 ". On the inside of one cover a  label : " 13-3-1926 Afkomstig uit de drogisterij van v.d. Kolk Kerkstraat Doesburg" (From the pharmacy of v.d. Kolk, Church street Doesburg.) The barrels are in mint condition with minor signs of use.
