A small decorated sixteenth century knife with touchmark

A sixteenth century knife. Total length 11,5 cm. Handle 5,5 cm. The wooden handle is elaborately decorated with brass inlays. The upper part is encased in brass and ends in a small knob where the iron is also visible. The iron has a touch mark of the blacksmith. The knife is, its age considered, in a remarkably well preserved condition. Found on a former battlefield in Germany.
