A diorama. High 8,5 cm. Wide 12 cm. Deep 3 cm. Inside a rustic scene delicately carved in wood showing a group of peasants in front of a house and on the right a meadow with cattle. This type of diorama was made by the Bavelaar family in Leiden in the 18th and 19th C. This diorama was made by Cornelis Bavelaar II (1777-1830)
