A polychrome tile. Size: 13 x 13 cm. Thickness 12 mm. Showing a kingfisher flying. Coloured Delft tiles of birds are relatively rare and very popular with collectors. Occasionally a kingfisher is shown. This kingfisher is flying. We have never seen such a tile before. It dates back to the first half of the 17th C. Mint condition.
