A rare Delft blue early 18th C tile with an "open air " landscape drawn by Jan van der Velde II (1593-1641)

A Delft blue tile. Size 13 x 13 cm. Thickness 8 mm. The tile shows two travellers in a landscape, after a drawing by Jan van der Velde II (1593-1641). The landscape fills the whole tile, there are no corner decorations. This type of tile, also known as " open air " tile, is rare. The tile is in mint condition, there are no restorations. Holland, early 18th C.
